Bust Buy: Porn Infiltration On Best Buy Networks
Everyone provides wi-fi now, even McDonalds, and now that the world is stepping closer to being a giant internet cafe and calling internet a utility and one step farther from the third world and the South, we have to wonder what happens when the internet’s more “shadowy side becomes public.
The last thing a family browsing in the TV section at its local Best Buy in Greenville, S.C., expected to see is 55-inches of pornographic images, but that’s what happened earlier this week to a woman in the store shopping with her son and grandchildren. She filed a complaint with the Greenville Police Department.
And that’s not the only time it happened, as the store’s manager admitted it a similar incident occurred the night before the woman reported her incident. An image was apparently uploaded through the Wi-Fi network and uploaded to a smart TV.
