Sugarland Concert Stage Collapses, Killing 5 [Video]
A country music concert in Indianapolis was about to bring on the group “Sugarland” when a stage collapse caused at least 40 injuries and killed 5.
“We could have other deaths,” Indiana State Police sergeant Dave Bursten told WISH 8 News in Indiana.
Powerful winds from an approaching storm sent the Indiana State Fair stage to the ground about 9 p.m., crushing some concertgoers and trapping others, authorities said.
