Homeless Man Charged For Strangling Pelican
There’s not too much that homeless people can do that attract too much attention, but strangling pelicans is definitely one of them.
Prosecutors on Friday charged a homeless man with animal cruelty, accusing him of killing a pelican with his bare hands.
Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies arrested 30-year-old Sergio Alvarez late Wednesday afternoon after horrified witnesses claimed they saw the man trying to choke a pelican near the Malibu Pier.

300 New Species Discovered
A series of pictures featuring newly-discovered species are being revealed. These pictures include that of the ‘inflatable shark’ which takes the gold in cute not-so-scary sharks. His eyes are staring into my soul! These new swell sharks apparently inflate their stomachs to scare off predators. I just wonder if I can have one of these inflatable sharks, I shall call him Puffy.
