Man Returns Home to Find His Wife Mummified
After the disappearance of his wife in 2011, a Spanish inmate was determined to find what happened to her. Upon his release he was greeted with a foul smell and the mummified body of his wife inside.
Neighbors did notice an unpleasant smell coming from her home, but a judge denied authorities entry because the woman had a history of poor hygiene, according to local police.
Officials then tried cleaning the house to get rid of the odor while police kept searching for the woman, the government said.

Ronald Post, who shot and killed a hotel clerk in northern Ohio almost 30 years ago, wants his upcoming execution delayed, saying his weight could lead to a “torturous and lingering death.”
In court papers, Post claims his weight, vein access, scar tissue and other medical problems raise the likelihood his executioners would encounter severe problems.

This inmate is a woman trapped in a man’s body and a Massachusetts Judge has ruled that he have a government-paid sex change under the 8th amendment.
Kosilek was born a man and, as Robert J. Kosilek, killed his wife in May 1990 and was convicted of murder. While an inmate serving a life sentence without the possibility of parole, Kosilek changed his name to Michelle and began legal proceedings against the state. Wolf in the past had ruled that Kosilek was entitled to be treated for gender-identity disorder, but stopped short of ordering surgery. In 2005, Kosilek sued, arguing that surgery was needed.
