KFC Sued For 8.3 Million After Poisoning Girl, Leaving Her ‘Brain Dead’
For the past 10 years there has been a lot of attention brought to restaurants like McDonald’s and KFC. Some coverage for the amounts of trans fats, sugar and salt, some coverage for the torture of the animals and some for ‘pink slime’ (which is the worst of all slimes). Maybe it was the combination of all of these reasons that left this girl brain-dead.
An Australian judge has ordered KFC to pay 8 million Australian dollars ($8.3 million) to the family of a Sydney girl left brain-damaged after eating one of the fast food giant’s chicken wraps.
