[ThatsPhuckedUp] [Photos] Boston Marathon “Homemade Bomb” Explosions Cause Over 140 of Injuries, 3 Deaths
The 2013 Boston Marathon is reported to be victim of at least two explosions that have caused two deaths and over 100 injuries. The news has spread like wildfire and our condolences are reaching out to those affected. Police officers in Boston have called in all off duty policemen to help in the aid of the spectators and runners. Hit the jump for photos and video from the explosion.
Barack Obama Follows Boob-Based Twitter
If you are famous, gay or have no friends – you are on twitter, I know I am, only because I’m famous for having no gay friends or friends at all. Well now the President is following a sexy twitter page based on one thing: side boobs.
Trayvon Martin: Rodney King 2012 or Octo-Mom 2012?
There are few controversies that get a response from the president of the United States, but the entire country seems to be in an uproar over the slaying of a 17-year-old, unarmed, African American. Communities (coincidentally in the lower tax bracket) became enraged at the tragedy as if it were the only to have happened in the United States history, but now there is a debate on the basis of the protests in their entirety.
When the media first covered the issue they released a photo of the victim which depicted him as innocent, young and of course unarmed; juxtaposed to this picture was that of Zimmerman who was only lucky enough to get a mug shot to depict his part in the incident. Barack Obama even took the time to comment on the issue, saying that if he had a son, he would look just like Trayvon Martin, giving all the more fuel to the media. Well it doesn’t take a social psychologist to tell you that when you add an innocent black child with an unappealing Hispanic killer and multiply it by the media, you get a full on race war or at least that’s what people want it to be.
Twitter Post Gets Brits Deported
Twitter is like the NY Times now, everything that people talk about is as serious as terrorism, or so says the FHD. Two British tourists learned this after their 140 character phrase was as threatening as a live bomb on a plane.
If the decomposed corpse of Marilyn Monroe is robbed from the grave, the terrorists have won.
Is what the post read and apparently anything that involves a celebrity (aka American’s worth protecting) and the word “terror” is a red flag on big brother’s search engine, even if the celebrity is 50 years under ground.
It was two tweets that had DHS riled up. The first was one in which Van Bryan joked that he was going to “destroy”America, which he explained to authorities was British slang for partying.
White House, Hackers, Politicians and Hollywood at War over SOPA
Anyone with a twitter or a remote connection to society has heard the buzz about the “Stop Online Piracy Act,” which for the most part is self explanatory; however, things get more complex when the string pullers on both sides of the argument aren’t budging a bit. The initial policy caused major backlash, everything from web blackouts to “Trending” tweets and protests, but now the policy’s revisions cause backlash from the original policy initiators all the while file sharing websites are still being shut down without the policy in effect.
The policy allows filtering by Congress, making what they find “questionable” to be “inaccessible,” and targets file sharing websites. One could get 5 years in prison for downloading a Michael Jackson song. That’s one more year than you would get for killing him.
Under the proposed SOPA legislation, both websites and Web surfers involved in sharing copyrighted material would be imposed with hefty fines and imprisonment, imposing a government-sanctioned firewall of sorts to shut down a large chunk of the Web …
