Queen Elizabeth Crashes Wedding
This English couple got more than they bargained for after the Queen of their country showed up unexpectedly at their wedding.
“We wrote to her, a bit light-heartedly, and got a nice letter back from a lady in waiting,” the groom told the Manchester Evening News. “We didn’t expect anything further to come from it.”
The Cannings received a reply from a staffer at Buckingham Palace, wishing them the best but informing them the Queen would not be able to attend.
